AR maths for Year 7 to 9

See the dimension that was always there.

Mathemavision turns a phone into a sixth sense for maths. Your child points it at any real object, measures it with their own hands, and gets a problem about that exact object. Not maths as a subject. Maths as a sense.

Launching on iPhone in 2027. Made in Melbourne.

The working build, September 2026

The idea

Every object is a constructed form.

A book is a rectangle with a diagonal hiding in it. A jar lid is a circle with a rule for its edge. The maths your child is being taught on paper is already here, in the room, holding everything together.

Mathemavision makes it visible. The first time the hidden triangle appears on their own book, they can't unsee it. From then on the world has a dimension it didn't have yesterday. That is the sense we're building: not attention to a screen, attention to reality.

"When will I ever use this in real life?"

Every maths teacher hears it. Every parent has heard it at the kitchen table. Mathemavision answers it with the thing in your child's hand, in under a minute, and it keeps answering it with every object they measure.

How it works

Measure it. Solve it. Keep it.

01

Measure

Point the phone at a real object and tap its four corners. The edges light up on the object itself.

02

Identify

The app guesses what it is. Your child confirms.

03

Solve

A problem about that exact object's real dimensions, at Year 7, 8 or 9 level. They work it out before anything is revealed.

04

Unlock

Get it right and the geometry appears on the object.

05

Collect

Every measured object becomes a specimen in their Atlas of Reality.

06

Discover

Patterns become Laws of Reality, like the Rectangle Law.

What makes it different

The world is the worksheet.

Most maths apps show maths on a screen. A few measure the world but teach nothing. We couldn't find one that does both, so we built it.

  • The real object in front of them, not a picture of one.
  • Their own measurements, from their own hands.
  • A problem about that exact object, at their year level.
  • An answer they have to reach before the geometry is revealed.

Who it's for

Year 7, 8 and 9. At home. On the phone they already have.

Explore freely

Years 7 to 9 are where counting turns into symbols, and where "when will I ever use this?" begins. Mathemavision meets your child there, one real object at a time, with problems set to the year they're in.

Explore together

Quests for ages 6 to 10 with an adult, so families can discover the mathematical dimension of reality side by side. A favourite park can hold a pattern, a secret fold and room to turn.

Why I built this

I hated maths in high school, until I gave it a chance and understood it. Then I wanted my classmates to feel that moment of getting it. They kept asking one question: when will I ever use this in real life?

Mathemavision is the answer, built by the person who was asked it. I'm building it solo and full-time in Melbourne, and the app you see above is the real working build.
